Business Description

Precision Well Servicing (PWS) provides a full slate of services including completions, workovers, abandonments, well maintenance, high-pressure and critical sour well work and re-entry preparation.

Our snubbing equipment complements our traditional well servicing business by allowing work on natural gas wells while the well bore remains under pressure and production is only temporarily suspended. We use snubbing to enhance production from gas wells. Snubbing has environmental benefits because it minimizes the use of chemicals in underground formations and reduces well-site flaring by re-circulating natural gas.

Precision Well Servicing also has a growing fleet of coil tubing units. A coil tubing unit is a service rig that uses continuous tubing spooled on a large reel instead of regular pipes. It is used for workovers in oil and gas wells and sometimes as production tubing in depleted gas wells.

PWS service rigs, snubbing and coil tubing units are deployed from key centres in Lloydminster, Grand Prairie, Estevan, Red Deer and many more.

Our rigs and our team of well servicing Toughnecks are known as the best of the best, in terms of safety, technology and service to our customers.

We invest in training and support for our people. We have an industry-leading health, safety and environment initiative called Target Zero which places a premium on safe working practices.
