Business Description

Why Join A Good Sam Chapter?

We have over one million Good Sam members throughout the States and Canada.  As a Good Sam member you are entitled to a number of benefits.  Some of these benefits are:  10% discount at more than 1,700 RV parks and campgrounds in the U.S. and Canada, free subscription to our Highways magazine, and get discounts on Trailer Life Campground Directory.  In addition to this, you have the opportunity of join the Good Sam Emergency Road Service, as well as getting access to the Good Sam website especially developed for all Good Sam members.  This will provide you with free access to RV trip routing services, member forums, the Good Sam calendar of events as well as any upcoming news that will affect the RV industry.

In addition to the above benefits, once you are a Good Sam member, you have the right to join or form a Good Sam chapter in your area. By belonging to a chapter you can take part in your chapter activities, as well as any of the provincial activities that are taking place.  What your chapter does is up to your chapter, but most go camping on a regular basis, attend Samborees, and go to invitational campouts throughout the province as well as having social meetings during the cold winter months.  Most chapters also get involved in community activities.  The Adopt a Highway Program would be an example of this.  Chapters will have anywhere from 5 and up rigs that elect their own executive (anywhere from 4 to 8 people) and plan their own activities.  By having a chapter, your President is given a place on the Provincial Board to vote for decisions being made by the Provincial body on behalf of your chapter.

Should you wish to join a chapter, please consult our chapter listing for a chapter in your area and contact the President of that chapter.  They would be more than happy to have you attend a meeting to show you what they are about.  If you do not have a chapter in your area, please contact the Provincial Director and he will be more than happy to assist you in the establishment of a chapter in your area.
